{"id":26,"date":"2011-07-16T17:34:55","date_gmt":"2011-07-16T17:34:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uplowman.org.uk\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2023-09-24T09:48:43","modified_gmt":"2023-09-24T09:48:43","slug":"village-communications","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.uplowman.org.uk\/?page_id=26","title":{"rendered":"Village communications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Newsletter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is&nbsp; <strong>\u201cParish News\u201d<\/strong> for Sampford Peverell and Uplowman which is produced monthly.&nbsp; It includes all the local church services and parish council meetings, and lots of adverts which is useful if you want a service or to buy something.<\/p>\n<p>There is a team of editors and the cost is around \u00a37 per year.<\/p>\n<p>They can be contacted to advertise or with news on parishmag@sampfordpeverell.org.uk<\/p>\n<p><strong>Website<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to this website with information about the Parish, there is also one for the Parish Council on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.middevon.gov.uk\/uplowman\">www.middevon.gov.uk\/uplowman<\/a> where you can read the minutes of meetings and agendas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notice boards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is a noticeboard next to the Post Office and opposite the Redwoods at Lowman Cross. A further noticeboard is in the Village Hall.<\/p>\n<p>This gives current information on your local councillors, village hall management committee, plus any local notices.<\/p>\n<p>Adverts for local events are usually posted opposite the Redwoods on the fence etc. although social media is also used.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Community Hub<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During Covid a village wide email was set up to give a wealth of information.
